Super cool vintage amp (60 years old). It’s had electrolytic caps recently with good caps (Sprague if I remember right). Took it to Steamboat a couple years ago.

Technically marketed as a bass/accordion amp. Sounds way better with guitar. 1x12 inch speaker.

Still could use a little TLC, at the time Steamboat cleaned the tube sockets with some deoxit, but I think one of the sockets could replaced entirely. The reason I say that, is every once in a while it will make some random noise, at which point if you wiggle a specific tube around it will stop. Have already changed the tubes to try to figure out if it was just the tube, but it’s still the same socket that reacts.

The tape on the back shows which socket is the culprit.

That’s the long story. Haven’t gotten around to replacing the socket so letting it go as it is. Super cool “thoaty” sounding amp. Sounds killer with a fuzz or distortion pedal.
