Porcelain made sign from Annex Motel and Restaurant along Route 66 in Litchfield, IL. Built by Vic Scopel Sign Co. in Staunton, IL around the mid 1940s. Sign was later moved to the Diamonds Restaurant & Truck Stop in Staunton, IL around 1980 where it still stands today. Sign is mostly handmade with brass screws about every six inches. Has a flasher for red neon arrow and green letters. Sign is about 18 feet long, 48 inches at the top of the arrow and 31 inches in the middle cabinet section. The metal porcelain cabinet is 10 inches thick, 16 inches with the neon glass. It does need some tubes repaired. We can help take the sign down.
